Hi all,
My first post here. I hope this post is appropriate. I have searched, but could not find anything that helped me much further. First of all, network environment: all winXP, sp2, simple file sharing disabled. About 35 machines. Question: I know how to share out directories from one machine to the other. This works well, as long as you know a userID and PW from the sharing machine. Now, I received a machine from a vendor that was preconfigured. It has one directory shared, and everybody can access that share, without having to provide a userID and PW! So, how can I do that myself? I just want to have a directory that all my users can go to, without having to enter a userID and pw. Clearly this is possible, but how??? Thanks! |
