Default New MacBook/MacBook Pro range

http://store.apple.com/uk

US site still appears to be closed.
New prices are a bit steep though!

I just saw an article today about it.

$999 for the entry level one that supposedly has better graphics.

At the lowest end of the redesigned laptops, a MacBook will cost $1,299, while the most expensive MacBook Pro, which comes with two graphics chips from Nvidia for extra-fast graphics processing, costs $2,499 — a $300 reduction from the previous top model.

I personally find the UK pricing ridiculous, it's an extra $300 over here for the base model. Does it cost $300 to ship?!

If my dollar to pound isn't off, I'd say that yeah, you are seriously getting jabbed in that deal. Conversion-wise, you should have a price more around the 500 pound range for the base model.

I'm not unbiased though since I think Apple over charges for their machines in general.
