Ok so i got his new motherboard and it has a SPDIF Out output, but i can't get it to work. ( no red light comes on even when pc is on)

I have a Asus M3a&8-T board, trying to get the SPDIF to work.

Do i have to install a driver for it or something?
or maybe change setting in Bios or windows?

    Hi Noob,

You did enable the SPDIF in the BIOS?

Don't know about BIOS, but i think that SPDIF should be enabled on the soundcard driver control panel, in Windows. Not sure, though.
