Recently my computer started making sounds (clunking?), losing icons, and finally crashed. I rebooted but got the same results. On the next try, it wouldn't reboot. Finally I used the reboot disc, but it failed. I bought a new computer!

However, and now that you know the symptoms, is there some way to access the hard drive of the crashed computer? I had backed up everything important, but not everything I wish I still had! I would like to retrieve some photographs.

    Thanks.:wave
