Hi i have went thru everything reinstalling drivers for my sound card, rolled back to previous drivers. I even disabled and tried to use onboard sound. But every time i restart my sound works for about 5-10 minutes and then the volume icon in the taskbar says no audio device. I went to device manager and it is showing my sound card with no exclamation mark or question mark. So its saying it has the right drivers and is detected. I have no clue what to do i have ran out of idea can someone please help me.

The sound works for 5 - 10 minutes then dies.
Take a screenshot of task manager when you fire up and the sound is working and print it out. After the sound dies, go into device manager again, have your list in your hand and see what new items are running. Post what processes are new.

    Hi Cyric0...

Check that audio is set to start automatically....

    Go to Start>> Run>> type in services.msc.

A window will pop up with a list of services. Scroll down to Windows Audio>> Select and right click>>Select Properties. Under the 'General' tab Make sure that 'Startup' is set to automatic. Click Apply and okay...Now check the startup status under services..Make sure it says started. If not look to the left and click start service...
