   i just started having this problem when i brought home a new game (dvd-rom) and my drive won't read it. I've tested with my other dvd-roms and it reads them fine as well as cd-roms. my dvd drive is a Pioneer dvd-rom dvd-116.
   any insight would be great my first thought is that it's a faulty disc.
