    Speculant The Confused One

just finished installing windows and the usual batch of programs and drivers after upgrading to a amd 64 X2 6400+ and an asus ASUS M3A78 770 mobo. HUGE step up from my msi k9nu neo mobo and amd 64 3200+ cpu :cool.

my question is, i read that windows xp needs some sort of a driver update in order to fully take advantage of dual core cpus. i have sp3 installed and i also installed a update called "amd cpu driver" or something like that. do i still need to install an update in order to make windows take advantage of my blazin dual core cpu? or don't i need to?
