cd-r and rw missing memory?????

    When I insert a blank cd into my external cd/dvd rw drive, I'm showing only 488MB instead of 700MB. What's going on?

    The problem fixed itself when I restarted my pc.

    Hi Whicky,

    Some directories do not show the Max size of a CD but, only the total of the data on it. Try all your possible Dir programs and see what you get.
