wireless router connects local only. please help urgent.

    I can connect to other routers using wireless, like my neighbors, but i can't connect to the netgear one i just got. netgear WGR614. it only connects to "local" instead of the internet. Please help asap.

    please provide more info on your system and hook up, (Cable or dsl, os version)

    Make sure your router is configured properly to access your internet connection and as buggabear said more information will help us help you

    Try to use the reset button on your router. I had the same problem after resetting my router I could configure it back.
