Windows virtual PC is installed and when i run it all is good.
I put the windows 7 disk in and it starts to load the OS it goes through copying files and then starts "expanding files" the 3 small dots are moving and it shows the disk is being read but that is a far as it gets. I left it alone for 1 hour but it still showed 0% Have i done something wrong?? ![]()

Wow, that's slow Bill.

Hi Bill
Indeed that is slow, generally I tend to use the ISO download of the file and Capture that as coming off HDD its much quicker. Could try VMWare that Augie uses as an alternate option.

Sorry Augie! I had better qualify my last post.
I do have Windows 7 on my laptop and it runs (not very well) the laptop is old and the spec is not up to the job. I decided to load it onto a virtual PC on the quad rig. What was strange is when i loaded it onto the laptop it was finished in 40 min but with the same disk it took over 6 hours to expand the files when loading to Virtual PC.
