I'm having some issues with XP ICS. I'm in a dorm and my laptop is connected wireless to my router located in another room. From my laptop I have a crossover cable connected to a xbox360 everything has been running for about a month with no problems. Yesterday I went to use my laptop and I was connected to the access point. I did a search and was unable to see the SSID it was like the router was turned off. I went over to the router and used a machine that was hard lined and it still had internet. I chalked it off was a bad router it was a old hacked WRT and It had trouble saving the configuration settings anyway. My roommate gave me another WRT v8 and I did the setup on it. I went back to my laptop and the network bridge supplying internet to the xbox wasn't working. I removed and reinstalled the bridge and everything seemed to work. The problem is I can power up the xbox and connect to xbox live but it disconnects intermittently. All of the ports are forwards correctly on the xbox and the router (another Linksys 54G) is using the latest firmware. When the bridge drops I also lose internet on the laptop. I have tried reinstalling the wireless drivers and still no luck. here is a few entries from the event log.
