Question Boot Camp

Last night I tried using Boot Camp to install Windows XP on my Mac. I got to the part where you partition your HD. I was putting 50GB for XP. It started the process but for some reason it gave me an error message. It told me to insert my Leopard DVD and open utilties and fix some stuff. I dont remember what it said. I dont know if Im doing something wrong or if something is wrong with my computer. Id really appreciate if I could get help on this. Im doing this because I have a Pro Tools system and from what Ive heard, you cannot install Pro Tools using Parallels or VMWare thats why Im wanting to use Boot Camp but its not letting me. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

What disc format did you use for the Windows partition? I think if using FAT32 then you an only make it up to 32gb.

Why would you want to install Pro Tools onto the Windows partition when it works brilliantly on Mac?

I didn't even get to that part. It didn't ask in what format I wanted to partition my hard drive in. I just got to the part were it asked how much memory I wanted to use for Windows XP.

I know it works wonderful on a Mac but the plug ins I have are only for Windows XP.

Change the partition size to 32gb and try that then.

As for the plugins, can't you get them from the same source but for Mac? Or did you illegally source them?
