My daughter spilled ? on her Lenovo Laptop at college. She never told me about it until it failed to power up. Power supply was OK so I took the top of and checked the Motherboard only to find out that it had a large water spot with corrosion on it. From the looks it took out a few diodes etc..

Will any Motherboard out of a Lenovo 3000 N-100 work as a replacement?

    Or

Do I have to use the same Moterboard that was in the computer (ie. 41W-3082)?

    Thank you

I would say yes just because laptops (cases and mounts) can be very specific.
Depending upon the cost of a new mobo and if that is the only damage done to the LT (liquids can be a real pain) you may just look at a replacement.
