Q6600 vs Q8200

I want to know which processor is gonna b good for me.
Q6600-2.4/8M/1066 or Q8200-2.33/4M/1333
actually my application is gonna do intense computing.
so which processor is gonna b good for me. thnks

I think you will be interested in this forums,but my opinion is Q6600.

 

Honestly i looked at newegg on prices for both the processors your looking at, if you plan on doing intense computing, shell out 500dollars for a new mobo and get the core i7 CPU,
even the cheap end core i7 920 is easy to overclock and screaming fast, and it supports tripple channel DDR3 ram, for even faster computing. It can be a tad costly from maybe what your looking at, but why buy something that will get you by for awhile instead of just getting something that will last you in the long run?

Do some research on the i7s they are sexxy, im so glad i got one, windows recongizes 8threads!
