The Media is Write Protected

    So i have a hard drive (eSATA WD 400GB) that im trying to write to I cant says premissions denied, and I look at the drive owner it it says Everyone. Not me or SYSTEM or AUTHENTICATED USERS. I am unable to change the permissions on the drive, and there is no write protect on thje drive can someone help.

    Is this a slave drive? Also, what operating system are you using?

    Whoops meant to post the OS, I'm running Vista 64bit, its just another drive I have, so master/slave settings (pretty sure there arent any Jumpers either). Just an eSATA drive.
