Outgoing mail restrictions

I am facing what seems to be an ever increasing problem when it comes to sending mail.

It started in hotels. If I stayed in a hotel that used a different ISP to mine I couldn't send any mail. As soon I was back on a network provided by my ISP I could send mail without issue.

It appears that they are restricting outgoing mail to their servers in a bid to prevent spam.

My current problem is a variation on the same theme.

I am setting up a laptop for someone who works for three different companies and has three different email addresses. How do I make it so they can send mail from any account at any location as there are at least 2 different ISP's involved.

I know I can set up a different outgoing mail server for each account but is there a way to set up more than one so that if sending via ISP A fails the mail will automatically be routed through ISP B?

Usually folks will inhibit relaying when setting up an email server so a solution for your situation will be difficult to come by. I know of no open relays....but someone else on this forum may.

Do those ISPs not provide webmail access to email accounts? Many ISPs do provide webmail access, which could be a solution here. By accessing an email account via web browser, the account can be accessed from any computer with Internet access.
