HELP i used hdd erase 4.0

i started hirens boot cd an used the "hdd erase 4.0" program thinking i was deleting all the data, WELL i deleted all the data alright i cant access my hard drive now, does any body know how to get access to the hard drive to get it back in operation, it will let me go to the setup screen for xp professional but then there is no hard drive to select from to create a partition.
please help

Hi Shy,

Sounds like you erased everything on the drive - Master Boot record, both Fats and etc. A partitioning and Formating will probably get you going.

From another computer download and burn GParted to a CD http://majorgeeks.com/GParted_d5757.html
You can use the free program ImgBurn http://majorgeeks.com/ImgBurn_d4870.html to burn GParted to a disk.

GParted will allow you to partition your hard drive, I recommend you format as NTFS if you plan to install a flavor of Windows XP.
