CD issues

    Hi all,

    Several months ago I purchased a 50 pack of Memorex CD-R's at Best Buy. I used 2 or 3 when I purchased them and was able to burn without a problem. The last few days I have tried several of the brand new CD-R's and they aren't even being recognized in 3 different XP machines. I don't have the receipt anymore so I was wondering if it's possible to just get a bad batch. Also, without a receipt I'm probably out of luck, correct?
