My computer thinks my removable storage drives are floppies. I don't have floppy drive only cd/dvd. How do I fix this issue. Also I can't back up due to it looking for floppy drives. OMG, I am ready to pull my hair out.

your bios might be messed up go into bios and have it set to default.

Don't know your OS, but this should work on both XP and Vista.
Right click on your hard drive and go to properties. Then go to the hardware tab, and it should show your drives, make a screenie (press Print Screen on your keyboard, paste into Paint and save as JPEG before uploading) and show to us. Here's mine: ![]() |
