Windows Update Error 8007006E

I keep getting an error while doing windows updates. i get error code 8007006E. The updates are 2007 microsoft office suite svc pk 2 and update for 2007 microsoft office system. I have look online for this and have not found much info on it. I am running vista home basic and have had office enterprise 2007 for close to a year now. I had a lot of problems getting outlook to work initially on this acer laptop and now it wont update. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

try inserting the cd and running the office repair util. no idea if this will work but i have read that it does.

If above suggestion of the repair doesnt work then download the full Service Pack and SP2 for Office 2007, I installed this SP last week from full downloadable with no issues, the block in not being able to istall it could be your antivirus app, so could try disabling that while installing from Auto Updates, but easier option is the full pack in link below.

To get to Repair in Office 2007, open any Office app and then click the Orb > click xxxxx Options (xxxxx = the office apps name) then click resources and click Diagnose button next to Run Office Diagnostics.
