Question Why Can't i Delete....!

Ran AVG antivirus just now and detected

Trojan Horse Dropper.Eesbin.C

Its in my RECYCLER folder
Ive tried everything even a file shredder,
Can i get rid of it through DOS PROMPT or something?
I need some real help on this one guys,
its driving me crazy

Can you guide me please??

Not sure this will help but its worth a try. Go to www.trendmicro.com.au/ and that site will run a check on your computer and delete the nasty there - at least that is what they did for me about 12 months ago. Someone else may have a better idea. Good luck

Yes that is the EXACT name as it appears in the virus report given by AVG antivirus.

I have re-scanned and it still appears to be there.

Went there and got ful system scan but no luck i affraid.

You can try this, though I doubt it will let you access Recycler:

First open a command prompt and leave it open. Open the task manager and select explorer.exe within the processes tab. While remembering to leave command prompt open, end the process explorer.exe, which is your shell. Don't freak out, because everything will disappear except the command prompt and task manager. (Even task manager will disappear if you close it, but you can always access it with Ctrl+alt+del)

Now that you've ended explorer.exe, navigate to recycler and see if you can access it. Something tells me it's not going to work, so don't hold your breath. Once you're finished, go back to task manager and from the file menu, select new task(run) and type explorer.exe then enter.

hi xray download this file .this will remove a stubban virus file .people who use it like it .it is called move on the next boot
