How come I don't show up in the list for the MG team? I entered the right team number, I'm sure of it. does it take a couple days?

 

It shows up when your WU is done. Could be a few days for you.

 

As Auggie said you will show up on MGs list as soon as your machine turns in a work unit. As far as time frame it could be a few days or a week, depends on how much your using your PC, resources available, system specs, if you turn your PC off at night....

My old dell takes about 3 days per WU (low system specs but almost never used by me)

There is a log that tells you in percentages how far you have to go to complete a WU.

Right Click the Folding Icon >Status > Log file

Will look like this:

[21:50:18] + Working...
[22:03:17] Writing local files
[22:03:17] Completed 380000 out of 500000 steps (76%)
[22:31:18] Writing local files
[22:31:18] Completed 385000 out of 500000 steps (77%)
[22:59:17] Writing local files
[22:59:18] Completed 390000 out of 500000 steps (78%)
[23:27:16] Writing local files
[23:27:16] Completed 395000 out of 500000 steps (79%)
[23:55:31] Writing local files
[23:55:31] Completed 400000 out of 500000 steps (80%)

My laptop WU is at 80% and has 20% left to do, most likely will complete the WU tonight while I'm sleeping.

The number in brackets in a time stamp, Working is processing, Writing local files is saving what the WU has done, Completed is giving you a status of the WU (from what I remember)

I have no enemies at MGs but always liked mischievous Dawgz.
