   Hi
   
   Yes if you have your original or a slipstreamed CD (slipstreamed is an original XP CD merged with a Service Pack so that you have a current master disk) then you can run sfc /scannow
   
   Make sure youre in the admin account
   Click Start > Run and CMD and type sfc /scannow (note the space between c and /) may take a while.
