Where does this file belong?

    I do hope that some knowledgable Geek can answer this:
    At Dom Luc's suggestion I ran FreeUndelete and retrieved a file "AppData" which appears to contain all my e-mail. I had to save it to a flash drive because the program said I shouldn't save it to C. So where do I move that file to in my C drive so that I can once again see all my messages?

    I'm (unfortunately) using Vista.

    Appdata is normally a folder rather than a file.

    How big is this file? Have you tried opening it with a text editor, to see if there is text that belongs to email messages, somewhere in there?
