Combofix recovery console?

    I might end up running combofix in my HP computer in the not too distant future :( . My computer already has a 'system recovery' option available on bootup. Would the combofix recovery console installation be necessary in this case?

    no need to install the recovery console on comboFix. just select no when it prompts you to install it.

    OK, thanks. :) I'm not sure if the 2 would conflict.

    From what I was told you have to install it for Combofix to work. But if you already have it, than Combofix will just skip that option on it's own.
