Firefox update problem

    I have used Firefox for several years and keep it updated. However, after the most recent update to 3.5.2, I cannot launch the browser and had to re-install 3.5.1. I have tried downloads from Mozilla, and from the MG site with the same result.
    And I don't know if it is a related problem, but when I try to launch Explorer I get an error message: iexplore.exe-Application error The instruction at (0x0099001c referenced memory at "0x0099001c". The memory could not be "written."
    Thanks for any help you can give me.
