Computer won't load windows

    My computer will boot up and will start to load windows but then i get flash of a blue screen for about .5 secs. has something on it but can't see. It then puts me at the last known config and safe mode menu. I can't get it to work in any of them. Just keeps doing the same thing over and over. Any ideas? I'm running windows xp.
