Refurbish them as above and donate them to local elemetary schools, pre-schools and such, for that they give me a receipt for a 'value' on them for tax purposes.
Who here does this or similar? And what are your limitations on age, make/model etc?

OK, here, in southern Ontario exists a welcoming centre that in addition to their services host a computer recycling program and they accept donations of printers (if they are in good working conditions), HDDs, RAM and of course, complete systems and they ask for Pentium III and IV; they use them to "educate" interested people in the use and repair of them, so they "refurbish" them and later on they sell them (and here I guess they make a little profit), prices are between $100 or a little bit more for one with Windows OS installed if the buyer have a valid CD-Key and around $50.00 for a system with Linux loaded. That is what I know, hope helps you a little bit.
