Default Advanced Mass Sender problems

Hello all. Somehow a mass email sending program has installed itself on our computer. It is called Advanced Mass Sender. There is also another mail sending program that pops up every now and then but I can't remember the name.

We did a search for "ams43.exe" and found it in a number of locations. We also found txt files for different email providers (i.e. hotmail, gmail, yahoo) which contained a whole heap of email address which I assume the AMS used to send emails.

We have tried uninstalling the AMS program and find that it is there again the next day.

I have followed the instructions in the "Read Me First" thread and carried out the Windows XP Cleaning Procedure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Logs are attached.

Yes I did receive a response there. That computer has now been removed and replaced with a new computer. It is being given to our boss' daughter and we would like to have it cleaned before passing it on.

I saw your other post before it got changed, correct MGlog is attached. But I understand if you'd prefer not to go on.

Thanks.

The thing is, it is nowhere in your logs. Obviously, someone installed. I suggest that you post in the software forum as this is not a malware issue.
If you want it clean, then I suggest you just reinstall the OS.
