I'll start by saying that I have been through the READ & RUN ME FIRST a few times now, hoping somehow for a different outcome.
Basically whatever is on the machine im trying to sort out, is neutralizing whatever I try to do to remove or even list what is on the system. Not one single item in the READ & RUN ME FIRST worked. Each of the scanners would install, would allow me to update and SAS would even allow me to begin a scan - however whatever is on the machine would then close these scans down or disable them from working. It would then corrupt the .exe file and would not allow me to delete it. Each of the other steps would not work either, with RootRepeal coming up with all sorts of errors. ComboFix was getting shut down before it had the chance to do anything. MGTools would flash up and do nothing. I attempted to follow through with the ideas on the 'Cannot run malware antibyters or sas' thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=193494 however the exact same problems happen in safe mode. |

Welcome to Major Geeks!
Let's see if we can get some info so that we can determine which system file has been corrupted. That way we can try to replace it. Please work thru all steps below and report back later. DO NOT stop if any particular step does not work. Download and save the below to your PC (save it anywhere you can find it. The Desktop is fine). Then double click on it to run it. AVPFind.bat It should take a couple minutes to run. You will see a black command prompt window while it is running and it should close when it is finished. Once it finishes, attach the c:\avplog.txt file that is will hopefully create as long as the malware does not block the batch file from running. (See: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post) Please download and run the below tool named Rkill (courtesy of BleepingComputer.com) which may help allow other programs to run. There are 4 different versions. If one of them won't run then download and try to run the other one. Vista and Win7 users need to right click and choose Run as Administrator You only need to get one of them to run, not all of them. You may get warnings from your antivirus about this tool, ignore them or shutdown your antivirus.Once you've gotten one of them to run then try to immediately run the following. Now download and Run exeHelper from Raktor
Now run this: Using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Now run this: Using MGtools Now you need to attach (See: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post ) the below logs created while running the above scans
