Hello, I followed all of the instructions in the READ ME prior to posting this. I am currently running x64 version of Windows, so I will not post combofix and root logs.

Whenever I play a game, any game, it will automatically minimize to the taskbar every so often (times are random). It does not only happen with games. Any program I have running, or even this browser window, will lose focus and I would have to click on it on the taskbar to regain focus.

I hope that was clear. Sort of difficult to describe it.

It started about a week ago. I think it may have started after I cleaned the Registry with CCleaner (without backing up the registry).

Or maybe after I've updated to the new nvidia drivers (191.07).

No malware was found on my system, so maybe that isn't the case.

Hopefully we can work on this together to solve my problem.

    Thank you very much.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

You are not having malware problems. You just have some program running that is popping up some kind of alert while you are in you games. Anything can do this.... even Windows Update. My first guess would be a notification of updates by AVG.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    3. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
