I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in software, feel free to move it if I posted in the wrong area.

I have Win2000 Enterprise (SP3) running on a DL580. Memory -2g plenty of disk space. The problem I am having issues with the LSASS process sucking up all the memory over a couple of days and requires a reboot to clear out. Aside from installing SP4, do you have any suggestions? Hope you geeks can help me out on this one.

Windows 2000 Enterprise? Win2k comes in four flavors: Professional, Server, Advanced Server, and Datacenter.

Any reason you're not using SP4? Service Packs, generally speaking, are tried and tested patches. They should be safe to use, and considering exploits like Blaster, probably should be used. Just be sure to back up first.
