I'm using a USB TP-Link on my PC with XP and trying to connect to another PC with a Linksy router but cannot complete ANY internet connections without getting the message "The browser could not find the host server" The connection is shown on my PC as a-ok

Make sure you can ping your default gateway, also check to be sure you are recieving an ip address on the other computers network (for DHCP).
If you are statically assigning an IP address be sure to add a DNS server or you will have connectivity but you will be unable to view any webpages. Hope that helps |
