How to make MyIE2 default browser / FlashGet not working

Issue #1:
I recently switched to MyIE2 after using IE for a long time, and for some reason (maybe I answered a question wrong or something) it's not my default browser. IE still comes up when I click on a link in an email message or other document. How do I set MyIE2 to be my default browser, do I need to reinstall it or is there a registry tweak I can do?

Issue #2
Even if I start it manually, Flashget will not manage my downloads in MyIE2 like it does in IE. I have it set to use Flashget as my download manager in Options/Download. Anybody know what's going on with that?

A issue#1: Go to options on the tool bar. Go to DEFAULT BROWSER and then choose "SET AS DEFAULT BROWSER"
