   Is it necessary to reboot the computer after installing a game? Does it matter? Or is it ok to just install a game and play it right away? I don't leave my comp on all the time, I always shut it down, so do I need to reboot?

   Some games & applications require that you reboot, but if it doesn't specifically say to, then no I wouldn't think so.
