I have a question about Kazaa, and am making myself very paranoid. This may have been asked before, but I searched and could not find it.

If I accidentally downloaded a picture using Kazaa, which in hindsight I'm sure is illegal, is there any way for a govenment agency to have monitored that download?

I quickly deleted it, didn't share it, but have visions of alarm bells going off somewhere. Can downloads be monitored?

    They can find you, sure.

    But just downloading a picture?

    I wouldn't worry about it.

Now downloading somethign say, mp3s, well I wouldn't.

Not worth the price if the RIAA catches you.

Actually, I would lay off the warez scene altogether at this time.

as far as the picture goes...unless you were part of a sharing ring or something. Or if you downloaded many pictures like that, they wouldn't care.

with regards to music... RIAA is going after people who are sharing the mp3's and enabling other users to download the copywrited music from them.... so your only main concern is what you make available to other users on file sharing networks...

what kind of picture did you download if you don't mind me asking?
