PC Tools FW Plus retired as of Aug 31/2010

What an (unpleasant) surprise that is! I happened to visit Wilders Security Forums and saw the announcement. :mad :mad

This without informing the FW users in advance!!

I've been using this FW for a while and really like it.

EDIT: Strange thing is that apparently they're offering a beta 7 version of this now retired FW.

 

Interesting read: looks like Symantec is being vilified once again...I don't use any of their products, in part because they do get so much negative press...

 

Hmm, changed again, looks like the firewall is back up on PCTools site.

In this link: http://www.pctools.com/consumer/products/, it's available, however, visiting the 1st link in my previous post it says it's retired.

Just now the author's link on MG shows that the FW can be downloaded. Yesterday and just 5 minutes ago, it wasn't so.
