i recently upgraded my mobo & cpu a few months ago.
i got a intel core 2 quad q8300 & a intel dp43tf mobo. i did a low level format of my hdd and did a clean install of xp home edition. i downloaded and installed all patches i also installed sp3, and downloaded and installed the most recent chipset driver for my mobo i even flashed the bios to the most recent version, or will i need to upgrade to vista? i ask because when i install any game it takes about an hour or more, will i need to install vista (which i have) ![]()
