Microsoft Word doesnt work :(
I can't get my MS Word to function. It doesnt even start up. I have Win. XP Home Ed. And i really need it to get a resume and school work done soon.
"The action is only valid for products that are installed" is what i get when i attempt to open it, thats all. J

Did it previously work?? Do you have the disk to reinstall it ?

Try looking for a different shortcut for it or running it from the Program Files\Microsoft Office directory. If you can't find it, do a search for WINWORD.exe and see if that brings it up.
Ain't Office grand? Oh wait. That's just the price tag.

I think your gonna have to reinstall word.
I had a customer with the exact same problem the other day Its word 2002 on an xp system right?
