Hi everyone,
I recently completed a malware search and removal on my computer. I think I got most of the spyware that's been causing problems, although my cleaning ended up causing a few new problems (like folders I can't click on anymore because they are forbidden). Anyway, I started this thread because I think maybe internet porn caused the troubles mostly. My husband uses youporn and some other sites where you view the content online. Does this mean it's not downloaded? or is it downloading malware when you're just streaming? Thanks! Beth |

A little more detail about this question. It is still downloading something. Anything that you are going to "view" still needs to get to your PC to be viewed. Thus it is downloading something. What it is downloading can vary based upon whether you are talking about still images or videos of some sort.
And let me throw in just a general comment that you will hear many people say, "there is no such thing as free porn". You are paying some kind of price for it. Whether it be some form of adware or popups or even the possibility of hidden baggage in the way of infections. I'm not saying that you have gotten infected, but pornsites are one of the highest cause of infections.
