Are you looking for the hardware and network setup? Or do you just want a list of MMPOGs (MassiveMultiPlayerOnlineGames)?

Here is a list of games

    Neocorn (Reakktor) (german)
World War II Online (Cornered Rat Software)
    Fighter Ace v.3.6 (Jaleco)
    Aces High (Hightechcreations)
    Ultima Online (EA)
    EVE Online (CCP Games)
    Earth & Beyond (EA)

These are the ones I know and have tried, I dont know much about the hardware setup, but I know that they run on a cluster of servers to spread out the load, I also believe IBM have been looking into making a wide gaming network for MMPOGs, but I cant remember the name of it and I might even be wrong.

Well... one thing I'm sure of... their servers verifies your CD key or whatever kind of piracy protection the game may have. Once that's done, I'm assuming it does your basic handshake (protocol, transmission speed, etc.) and the game actually uses the bandwidth to send updates of your actions, movements, etc to the server while the server sends your computer updates to the other player's actions, movements, etc.

There is a lot more happening behind the scenes, but I'd have to go back to some of my books to actually get down and dirty with the technical details of what's going on.

    yeah

    ok yeah thats the deal...
so those servicxes host 100 or so players pretty much in the same way as i would if i were to log onto ubi and start a game of r6 or soaf...where ide be the server if i told people my ip and they joined that way.....thanks again
