Superfish removal

I have Win 7 and IE7. I have recently started to get re-directed to Superfish when I try to use Google. I have tried all of the removal programs listed in other threads; CCcleaner, TDS cleaner, ATF cleaner, etc. I've also run Ad-Aware & Spybot but I still get the re-direct. How do I get rid of this '
Superfish' ???

Everyone except Step 6. I'm afraid that I will screw something up on my computer... is step 6 the only option left?

Are you referring to disabling your disc emulation software? Do you have any software installed such as Daemon tools? If not, skip it.

Yeah I guess that's what Step 6 is talking about. But no, I don't have Daemon tools or anything like it that I know of. I have done all the other steps though and I still have the re-direct when I use Google search

You should be able to remove Superfish by doing the below:
For Firefox, click on Tools >Add-ons>Superfish Window Shopper. From there, you can disable or uninstall. You may need to restart Firefox.

I have IE7. I've tried clicking on Tools >manage Add-ons but Suoerfish is not there. It's not in programs either. I don't know how to find it, except when it re-directs.
