ComboFix not fully uninstalled

I carried out the malware removal process (under instructions from a post on here) a couple of weeks back. All went fine, although there seemed to be a glitch on uninstalling ComboFix afterwards, system froze during the uninstall.

However, rebooted and everything has worked fine since, and boot time is much quicker.

I have noticed a folder C:\Qoobox with a subfolder BackEnv - when I try to delete these I get a message "Cannot delete BackEnv: Access is denied", and I can't open the subfolder to see what's in it. I believe it contains the logs from ComboFix. (I'm logged in with admin rights - XP Home SP3).

I'm not unduly concerned about the folders being there (just a bit "untidy"), but maybe there's still some remenants of ComboFix in the system that will come back and bite me sometime in the future? CCleaner doesn't show anything on file cleaner or registry scan.

Should I leave things alone, or if not how can I get make sure that ComboFix is fully uninstalled?

Re installed ComboFix then ran the uninstall command as described.

Qoobox folder all gone now, and I'm assuming so have any remaining bits of ComboFix.
