Default Toolbar Won't Stay Installed

It's me again.

I installed merriam-webster toolbar, but when I close down, the next time I go online, it's been uninstalled. I have to reinstall it daily.

Today, for some reason, it deletes while I'm online. IE6 was stalling between pages, so I went into internet options to delete cookies, temp files, and history, but, the M-W toolbar gets deleted. That never happened before.

Any ideas?

When I have seen this, its because another toolbar, even uninstalled, is trying to take over. I ran into it recently and it required running Ad-Aware or Spybot (from our spyware section) to remove it. Be sure there are no other toolbars installed that can be removed via the add\remove programs as well. You might also try to select "Lock The Toolbars" after setting it up as a toolbar that is viewable.

No other toolbars. Ran both ad-aware and spybot, nothing there. I keep my toolbar locked. M-W isn't even listed when I right-click on the toolbar, but it shows up when I right-click my mouse. Also, nothing in the add/remove option.

HELP! Seriously, thats all I can think off at the time being, if anything else comes to mind, i will stop in. Perhaps, you checked their website for problems with the toolbar, could be a common problem?

Its hard to diagnose remotely sometimes, I fixed a friends PC in 3 minutes today, but had to see it to do it...
