    Quick shot.

    Wise Registry Cleaner
    RegSeeker
    RegCleaner
    Registry Distiller
    Simnet Registry Defrag
    Quicksys RegDefrag

For a while now, reg cleaners are being denounced in reputable tech sites, including MGs
Why have a novice member or guest, use the any of the above.
    Cheers..

    For Rootkit analysis.
Add TDSSKiller from Kaspersky. Thinks its doing better than GMER. Just my opinion.

    Cheers..

I would suggest removing "startup manager" as part of the description for CCleaner Slim, since it uses the same process or mechanism as MSCONFIG, which is not recommended.
At least, that is what I have picked up here on the forums.
Instead, I recommend Startup Control Panel Standalone Version.
Great little program - reliable and easy to use.

Also, I suggest adding PSPad Editor to the Office Productivity section.
I'm still using the so called "current version" 4.5.4 (2356).

I think ERUNT is a must have, especially for users of Windows XP. I rely on it and it has never let me down.

Did a little investigating and found the following:
    Aug. 9, 2010 - Kasperky's TDSS Killer lives on

Of course, MajorGeeks has the latest version available for download HERE.

Here is a tutorial on how to use the utility:
Kaspersky Support: How to remove malware belonging to the family Rootkit.Win32.TDSS (aka Tidserv, TDSServ, Alureon)?

On Kaspersky's Home & Small Office Support Utilities and Removal Tools page, there is a section titled 3rd Party Incompatible Software Removal Utilities
which includes Avast, Avira, AVG and SuperAntiSpyware.
I don't understand what they are referring to by saying these are incompatible? :confused
