Problem with Keygen Malware

    A few weeks ago, my computer started to act funny, but the antivirus that I have didn't say anything about having a virus. So I thought I was all good. Well then a few days ago it just completely freaked out. I followed the instructions on this website to get rid of the problem and I thought I had done so, but then it tells me it still has the same problem. If you could please help me that would be great. I believe I probably got the virus when my younger brother was using my computer. I have also attached my logs as it said to do in the instructions. Thanks for your time.

    What AV are you using? I am not seeing one in your add/remove programs list. You also need to remove the link to ComboFix that is on your desktop and move the program directly to the desktop, not here:
    Running from: c:\users\Shannon\Downloads\ComboFix.exe,

    It is also a bad idea to have Utorrent running at start up. It opens your system to all sorts of nasties.

    What malware issues are you still having, if any?

    I'm using Microsoft security essentials. It says that I am protected but that I have this keygen hacktool thing and it can't get rid of it. And I'm not the most computer savvy, so do you have any idea how to make Utorrent not open on start up? I believe that that hacktool thing is making my computer run super slow, because it is the only thing that I know of that is on my computer.

    Also, how do I move combofix from that file location. Every time I move it to my desktop it says it is a shortcut not the actual thing. Sorry I'm so bad at this.

    You need to tell me what MSE is complaining about. The full path to the file.

    To move ComboFix, just click on it and drag it to the desktop.
