    Hi Major Geeks,

I am trying to do a specific cleaning with superantispyware and it is sitting on the quarantine for mcafee for over 45 minutes. Is this usual or is the cleaner "stuck". What can I do to fix this.
    Thank you,
    mls200863

    Welcome to Major Geeks!
Empty your McAfee Quarantine before running scans.

McAfee has been know to have a problem with their Quarantine folder if it gets too large. Not sure that is you problem though.

Disable McAfee and then manually delete their Quarantine folder. Not sure what version you have or where they are storing it now. In the past, I have seen them use one of the below folders

    C:\Quarantine
    C:\Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/McAfee/Virusscan\Quarantine

After deleting the whole folder, just recreate a new empty quarantine folder and then reenable McAfee. Also make sure that you empty your Recycle Bin afterwards
