I've been trying to install D Link DI 624 Wireless router (2.4GHz) and have had some problems but I'm still working on that. My question is during my instulation I had to get into XP's 'View Network Connections'. I'm showing 2 connections. A RCA USB Cable Modem which is my internet access and then a '1394' connection. I have the 1394 disabled at this time since I was haveing a problem getting on line. I have no idea where that came from or if I need it or not. If I don't need the 1394 should I just delete it? Or does it have something to do with my D Link router? Any ideas?
By the way, has anyone had any experiences good or bad with D Link wireless routers? Is there a better router I should get? Thanks, IMSA |

I have a D-link router, its not wireless, but I have 0 problems with it. |
