Default 7" Reader inside power connection messed up

I have a Cruz reader and when it locked up. i had to disconnect the internal battery. Well, I made things worse when one of the five wires came loose from the plastic connector (attached photo). These wires are so tiny. I tried to fix it myself and severed the wire further. There's no room, and I can't find a 5-wire connector that small. Is my fifty-dollar Cruz Reader ready to R.I.P. Help? Advice?

You are probably going to have to splice some similar wire to the existing wire. You may be able to salvage the connector and just buy the header pins.
