unlocked Nexus s
Quick question..My Nexus S I9020a 4.0.4 is unlocked. Can I root it without flashing, and if so how? Instructions would be great

Sure.
Fastboot a recovery, and then load a superuser package. If you are on ICS, make sure you use one that works. Put this on /sdcard: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2056318/su.zip Code:
adb reboot bootloader fastboot boot recoveryimagename.img
